Available Opportunities

Piteau Associates is going through an exciting phase of growth with the addition of more than 50 employees in our Geotechnical and Water Management groups in the last few years. To keep up with this growth, we are expanding our geotechnical group capabilities with highly respected industry leaders in our operations.

Skills and Responsabilities

We require an Administrative Assistant to join our growing Team in Reno. This is a permanent, full-time position which will provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to and working closely with the US Administrative Manager, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the company.

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Provide logistical support for day-to-day office operations

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for engineering staff

  • Project related data processing

  • Technical report preparation, consisting of scanning, compilation, editing, formatting, and report re-production

  • Assist with scheduling of field staff

  • Manage the availability, maintenance and repair of vehicles

  • Order all office supplies and stock

  • Support maintenance and inventory of equipment

  • Assist with billing

  • Banking deposits

  • Liaise with the Head Office (Vancouver) admin/accounts team

  • Phone call reception

  • Orientation of newly hired staff

  • Other tasks as required

Required Qualifications 

This position requires the following skills and experience:

  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point with an eye for detail and accuracy

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Work independently and take the initiative on short term projects as assigned by management

  • Excellent English (both written and oral) with working knowledge of Spanish being an asset

  • Previous experience in a similar role and sector will be considered favorably
