Available Opportunities

We require an Intermediate Accountant to join our growing Team. This is a permanent, full-time position which will provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to and working closely with the Corporate Controller, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the company.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end processes and compile year-end working papers as assigned.

  • Oversee AP transactions, reconcile bank statements, and maintain general ledger accuracy.

  • Process payrolls in multiple jurisdictions.

  • Review employee expense reports.

  • Assist with billing and manage client receipts.

  • Reconcile credit card statements.

  • Prepare EFT and cheque batches.

  • Assist with project reporting.

  • Preparing a variety of reporting documents, including monthly GST reports, statistics and employee taxation reports.

  • Manage financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  • Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and compliance with accounting policies.

  • Assist with ad-hoc and special projects as assigned.

  • Other duties as required.

Required Qualifications 

  • 3-5 years in full cycle accounting, preferable in a consulting environment.

  • Proficiency in Sage 300 and MS Office applications.

  • Accurate and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with multicurrencies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a working knowledge of Spanish an asset.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive work environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; takes action regularly and seeks out assistance and resources when required.
